DELIVERY POLICY

We offer the following delivery service to all online orders and is detailed in the below policy. Please call our delivery hotline on the following numbers if you need help or have any queries.

WHO WE DELIVER TO

  • We deliver packages to every address in Male’ and Hulhumale’ phase 1 and phase 2, also to Boats docked in Male’ and Hulhumale’.
  • Orders exceeding MVR 1000 are all eligible for free delivery, while orders under MVR 1000 may incur additional delivery fees depending on the delivery location and goods.
  • All deliveries for blockboards in will be charged: 
  • Addresses in Male’ – MVR 70.
  • Hulhumale phase 1 – MVR 250.
  • Hulhumale phase 2 – MVR 350.
  • Ferries and Boats – MVR 200 for orders less than 10 blockboards and  MVR 350 for orders above 10 blockboards.
  • Please take note that we are not involved in loading goods to boats, however, we will deliver until the location of the boat.
  • Details must be entered in the “Delivery address” areas offered during checkout if the products are to be delivered to a vessel.
  • Select “Pick up” from the delivery option at the time of checkout if the customer wishes to pick up the items at Energy World – Janavaree Magu, Energy World – Ameenee Magu, or Energy World – Addu.

 

HOW AND WHEN WE DELIVER

  • All orders will be delivered within 72 hours of purchase.
  • Delivery hours: 0900 am to 1800 pm Saturday to Thursday.
  • Delivery timings are subject to change depending on the items and the working hours. In such cases, the recipient would be notified.
  • Orders received on a Friday or public holiday; delivery will be processed on the following business day.
  • Packages will be delivered to the ground floor of each address.
  • Our staff will not enter any building under any circumstances.
  • Energy World will not be responsible for any late delivery or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

 

ACCEPTANCE OF DELIVERY

  • No delivery notes will require signatures and should be acknowledged via sms, viber, whatsapp or email.
  • Before goods are dispatched, delivery personnel shall contact the specified recipient via a phone call to re-confirm the address and availability of the recipient at the delivery address.
  • Energy World shall not be responsible for the damage or loss of any product once delivery has been confirmed either by the original recipient or by a third-party recipient (nominee by the original recipient).

 

SELF COLLECTION FROM STORE

Customer can choose to collect items from our store:

  • Select the “Pickup from Store” button at the time of placing your order from delivery options on the checkout page.
  • Items will be ready for pickup within 8 hours from the confirmation time.
  • Please note that items will only be held for pickup for a maximum of 48 hours after the order confirmation time.
  • Items are to be collected from the respective outlet which was selected at checkout.
  • It is important to ensure that the Sales Order number and National Identity Card are brought along for collection as we are unable to release the items without these details. If someone else is collecting the items on behalf of the customer, they will need to provide a copy of the customer’s National Identity Card.

 

RETURNS POLICY

We strive to provide the best possible customer service and will do our utmost to ensure that any issues are resolved promptly and to your satisfaction.

To initiate a return, replacement or exchange, please contact our customer service team within 7 days of receiving your order. We will require your Sales Order number and a detailed explanation of the issue.

For exchanges, once we have received the returned item(s), we will process the exchange and send you the new item(s) within 7 days. Please note that exchanges can only be made for goods of equal Value, or as part payment for higher valued items.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our customer 

How to return:

  • If the product received is damaged, then bring it to the notice of the delivery personnel immediately at the time of delivery or when picking up the items from our outlet.
  • In case of defective items, you may return within 24 hours of delivery in their original packaging. We shall not accept any good(s) used or not in the condition in which it was delivered.
